Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals announce their support of Kat Cammack in FL-03

This is the fifth department to endorse Kat Cammack

Clay County joins the Professional Firefighters of Gainesville, Palatka, Alachua, and Marion in supporting her campaign for Congress

Gainesville, FL - Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in FL-03, is announcing that the Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals have endorsed her campaign for Congress.

Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals is the fifth department to endorse her campaign.

The Professional Firefighters of Alachua County, the Professional Firefighters of Gainesville, the Professional Firefighters of Palatka, and the Professional Firefighters of Marion County have all previously announced their support.

The Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals is an International Association of Firefighters affiliate that represents the sworn men and women of Clay County Fire Rescue Department. The Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals is governed by an eight member Executive Board under the current leadership of President Eric Padgett.

Eric Padgett, President of the Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals, Local 3362 gave the following statement in a letter to Kat Cammack:

"As a Representative in Congress, you are charged with the interests and well being of all our Citizens, Employees, and Businesses within your district. Your job is often thankless and incredibly detailed. In the end however, you give great thought and consideration that the decisions you make and the services you provide are the right ones for the citizens and the District itself and for this, the Local 3362 thanks you.

"Every day, also with great thought and consideration, this local makes decisions on what is best for our membership and its families. Our Local 3362 knows that you have the best interest of this community and its citizens, including my Union Brothers and Sisters, in mind when making decisions for our future. For this, we the Local 3362, would like you to know we endorse and support you in your journey for election to Congress," Padgett concluded.

Kat Cammack, candidate for Congress, responded to the endorsement by saying:

"As the wife of a first responder and the co-founder of the GRIT Foundation, support from the Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals, and the many other endorsements from departments across FL-03, are extremely important to me as. Throughout my time in Congressman Ted Yoho's office and as a result of my many years of volunteer efforts in the district, I have gotten to know these hometown heroes. I understand the challenges they face and the advocacy they need and deserve. As their next representative, I will be honored to fight for these hardworking men and women. Supporting those who put their lives on the line everyday to protect our community is a privilege and an honor I will never take lightly."
