Former Bradford County State Committeeman Endorses Cammack
David Dodge spent 30 years serving the Bradford County REC, and he knows Kat is ready for Congress.

Gainesville, FL - Building on a consistent and steady momentum of local and national endorsements, Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in FL-03, has landed an endorsement from David Dodge. David Dodge has served within the Bradford County REC for more than 30 years. Most recently, he was the Bradford County Republican State Committeeman. Dodge graduated from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture in 1951 and had a career inthe apple orchard business until 1965. He worked as a flight instructor from 1966 to 1979 during which time he was Chief Pilot and Flight Instructor for two separate flight schools in South Florida. Dodge retired in 1992 after becoming a Florida Licensed General Real Estate Appraiser. David has long been a philanthropist. He currently sits on the board of the Bradford County Arc and is their former President. The Arc of Bradford County is a community based organization committed to providing a continuum of exemplary services, supports, and advocacy to assure that people with developmental disabilities can enjoy respect and dignity and be full participants in the community. Former State Committeeman David Dodge gave the following statement: "It gives me great pleasure today to announce that I am endorsing and supporting Kat Cammack for the Congressional District 3 seat being vacated by Representative Ted Yoho. "Generally speaking, it is an unwritten rule for a member of the Republican Party that holds a position within the party to not support or endorse a particular Republican candidate when more than one is running for a particular seat. Actually, however, it is not unprecedented. "When, someone who is connected to the party does endorse a pre-primary candidate, it is mandatory that he or she makes it clear that the support and/or endorsement is personal and not being offered as a spokesman for the Republican Party. That being said, speaking for myself, and using my personal forum(s), I now publicly support and endorse Kat Cammack to fill the District 3 Congressional seat being vacated by Representative Ted Yoho. "There are several reasons for my doing so, not the least of which is the fact that I have known her ever since she teamed up with Congressman Yoho to work on his original campaign. I know her to be one who does what she says she is going to do. She is a major supporter of President Trump and his programs to make America Great Again, a strong supporter of the Constitution, with particular advocacy of the First and Second Amendments, and a knowledgeable advocate for veterans, and first responders. "She is also well versed in the problems associated with agriculture. Agriculture is a huge industry here in Florida, and she is an advocate of having a superb understanding of the government programs affecting the industry. "Working in Congressman Yoho's office, Kat Cammack has been a major facilitator in getting his work accomplished within the complicated system of give and take in the House of Representatives. She can hit the ground running in a crucial time in this nation's history. She is the only one of the several candidates with that intricate and important head start. "We truly need someone who can do that. I believe that if anyone can, Kat can." Cammack gave the following statement in response to the endorsement: "I am incredibly honored to have received this endorsement from David Dodge. He has given many years to the betterment of the Bradford County REC, as well as the Republican Party of Florida. David's diverse background speaks to how knowledgeable and experienced he is politically, as well as in agriculture, real estate, and aviation. I am inspired by his volunteer work with the Arc of Bradford County and am humbled to be his choice for Florida's 3rd. If elected, I look forward to working with individuals like David to ensure the strength of the Republican Party in Florida is fostered for generations to come." In addition to announcing more local endorsements than anyone else in the race, on a national level, Kat has earned support from top conservatives such as U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R, KY), "We Build the Wall" founder, Brian Kolfage, and the Tea Party Express.
Kat Cammack is a small business owner, a proud wife to a first responder, an alumnus of the United States Naval War College, and the longtime former Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to Congressman Ted Yoho (R, FL-03). ###
