Gainesville, FL - Building on a consistent and steady momentum of local and national endorsements, Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in FL-03, has landed an endorsement from Hon. Denise Grimsley. Hon. Denise Grimsley served six years in the Florida State Senate and eight years in the Florida House of Representatives. She spent fourteen years on the Agriculture committee and three years as the Chairman. Grimsley was the first woman chair of the influential House Appropriations Committee. Denise recieved her MBA from the University of Miami. In 2013, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters for her work in Health Policy by Nova Southeastern University and a second Honorary Doctorate of Law Degree from Flagler College. During her career as a legislator, Denise was recognized by a variety of organizations from the Florida Citrus Mutual to the Florida Chamber of Commerce, for her consistent efforts on behalf of the Heartland. Hon. Denise Grimsley gave the following statement: "As an elected official, I understand the challenges of representing a constituency but, Kat has been prepared through her work with Congressman Ted Yoho to take on the task of FL-03. She has had the experiences needed to defend the people of America and her constituents from the impending threats of the House Democrats. "We need Republican women who are prepared to defend fiscal responsibility, national security, and small government.
