Sheriff Gator DeLoach Endorses Kat Cammack for Congress


Gainesville, FL - Kat Cammack, Republican Nominee for Congress in Florida's Third Congressional District, is announcing the endorsement of Sheriff Gator DeLoach of Putnam County.

Sheriff Gator DeLoach is a life-long Putnam County resident. He has served as the Putnam County Sheriff since 2017 and been a part of the Putnam County Sheriff Office for over 20 years.

Sheriff DeLoach gave the following statement:

"As a career law enforcement officer and true conservative, I am choosing to endorse Kat Cammack for Florida's 3rd District. She cares abundantly for all corners of Florida's 3rd District. In my past experiences with Kat, I have had the pleasure of working alongside a determined and intelligent woman with a true passion for individual freedom and liberty. Kat co-founded the Grit Foundation, which supports law enforcement and first responders with life-saving equipment.

"When Kat sees a disparity, she doesn't hesitate to step right in and get things done. That is exactly what she will do for the people of FL-03."

Kat Cammack gave the following statement in response:

“I am proud to have received the endorsement of Sheriff Gator DeLoach. He has spent his career protecting the people of Putnam County and their families. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve alongside those on the frontlines protecting our communities and I can assure you I will head to Capitol Hill prepared to defend heroes like Sheriff GatorDeLoach."

Kat Cammack has also received endorsements from Sheriff Billy Woods of Marion County, Sheriff Michelle Cook of Clay County, Sheriff Brad Whitehead of Union County, Sheriff Bobby Schultz of Gilchrist County, and Sheriff Robert B. McCallum of Levy County.

Kat Cammack is a small business owner, a proud wife to a first responder, an alumna of the United States Naval War College, and the longtime former Deputy Chief of Staff to the District.
