Staunch 2A Activist Backs Kat Cammackin FL-03

Mike Weeks joins fellow gun activists and 2nd Amendment supporters from across the District in placing their support behind Kat Cammack's campaign.

Gainesville, FL - Building on a consistent and steady momentum of local and national endorsements, Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in FL-03, has landed an endorsement from Mike Weeks. Mike Weeks is a NRA certified firearm instructor and range safety officer. He is the co-owner of a tactical and firearm training company by the name of 2A Tactical and Training. Weeks was selected as the 2017 Southern Regional NRA Volunteer of the Year. The Southern Region of the NRA includes, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee. In addition to several national endorsements and coalitions released by the campaign since Cammack announced her candidacy, she has been endorsed by a number of gun rights activists including Tony and Sherrie McKnight and others on her Gun Owners for Kat Coalition. Mike Weeks gave the following statement: "Kat is a Constitutional Conservative who will fight for our rights, including our Second Amendment rights, in Washington. Her work with the Alachua County Friends of NRA shows that she is a proven defender of gun rights for the American people and the District. I came to know Kat in her position as the Deputy Chief of Staff and campaign manager to Congressman Ted Yoho, but also as the co-founder of the GRIT foundation. When Kat sees a disparity, she makes a change and provides a solution. She will leave no rock unturned in the Capitol." Cammack gave the following statement in response to the endorsement: "I am honored to receive the support of Mike Weeks. He is a staunch supporter of Second Amendment Rights and has proven that he will stop at nothing to protect them from big government liberals actively seeking to infringe on the Constitution. On a National level, Kat has earned support from conservatives such as U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R, KY), "We Build the Wall" founder, Brian Kolfage, and the Tea Party Express.
