1,500 firefighters and their families across the region join five aforementioned departments in placing their support behind Cammack

Gainesville, FL - Kat Cammack's momentum of grassroots endorsements continues today with an announcement that the Gator Fire Council is supporting her campaign for Congress. The Gator Fire Council represents more than 1,500 firefighters, paramedics, and their families, living in the North Central Florida. The Council is comprised of members from Alachua, Bradford, Clay, Citrus, Lake, Levy, Marion, and Putnam counties. The Gator Fire Council also has members from Florida's Forestry S-20 and The Villages Firefighters. The Gator Fire Council joins a massive list of departments that have already put their strong support behind Kat Cammack in FL-03. That list includes the Professional Firefighters of Alachua County, the Professional Firefighters of Gainesville, the Professional Firefighters of Marion County, the Clay County Fire Rescue Professionals, and the Professional Firefighters of Palatka. Among six coalitions of supporters for her campaign for Congress, Kat Cammack has previously released a First Responders for Kat Coalition of almost 40 firefighters, law enforcement and EMS workers. The coalition is made up of hometown heroes who fight each and everyday for the safety of North Central Florida communities and families. Scotty Taylor, President of the Gator Fire Council, gave the following statement in a letter to Cammack: "On behalf of the Gator Fire Council, please accept this letter as our formal endorsement of your election campaign for Congress in Florida's 3rd Congressional District. "The Gator Fire Council have always taken great pride in our involvement with the political process as well as the endorsement of candidates who help serve in the best interest of Public Safety. We look forward to working with you on the various important issues you may encounter during your tenure as a Representative in Congress. "Any resources or effort that the Gator Fire Council may extend to you is only a request away. The Gator Fire Council looks forward to your successful election," Taylor concluded. Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in FL-03, responded by saying: "I am truly honored to have the support of the Gator Fire Council and the many other departments that have backed our campaign thus far. As a wife of a first responder and the co-founder of the GRIT Foundation, an endorsement from the Council means a great deal to me. "There is no greater sacrifice than choosing to put the life of the community before your own, which is why I am greatly motivated to be a voice for those who choose this as their calling. Advocating for our hometown heroes will always be one the top of my list for day one in Washington." Kat Cammack is a small business owner, a proud wife to a first responder, an alumnus of the United States Naval War College, and the longtime former Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to Congressman Ted Yoho (R, FL-03).
