The Republican Liberty Caucus throws its support behind Kat Cammack for Congress in FL-03

The longest running Republican Liberty group knows and trusts Cammack

Gainesville, FL - Kat Cammack, the Constitutional conservative candidate for Congress in Florida's Third Congressional District, is announcing that the Republican Liberty Caucus has made an endorsement in support of her campaign for Congress.

The Republican Liberty Caucus is a voluntary grassroots membership organization dedicated to working within the Republican Party to advance the principles of individual rights, limited government, and free markets. Founded in 1991, it is the oldest continuously-operating organization within the Liberty Republican movement.

The Republican Liberty Caucus and RLC Chairman Matt Nye gave their endorsement in the following letter, which can also be found below:

"The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) has endorsed Kat Cammack for Florida’s

3rd Congressional District.

"Cammack is a small business owner, an alumnus of the United States Naval War College, and the longtime former Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to Congressman Ted Yoho (R, FL-03). She is competing in the crowded Florida 3rd Congressional Republican primary race for the soon to be vacated seat of Congressman Ted Yoho.

"Cammack stood firm alongside President Trump in 2016 to fight for the America First agenda and against the threat of socialism.

"The masks have come off, and the socialists are now operating in broad daylight in Washington, D.C.,”said National RLC Chairman Matt Nye. “We are proud to endorse Kat in this race because we know she will fight for our values in Congress.

"Cammack is a concealed carry permit holder and a board member for the Alachua County Friends of NRA. In addition to her desire for limited government, she is firmly committed to protecting our right to keep and bear arms.

"The founders understood the right to bear arms was crucial to the survival of our nation," said Nye. "As we watch events unfold in the wake of COVID-19 and the death of George Floyd, it is more important than ever we have members of Congress that will fight to preserve this precious right."

"RLC endorsements are given only to those who advocate in accordance with the organization’s principles of individual rights, limited government, and free markets."

Kat Cammack gave the following response to the endorsement:

"I am so honored to have received the support of the Republican Liberty Caucus.

"As the Constitutional conservative in this race, I strongly believe in preserving liberty and freedom for the American people. The imminent threat of socialism is growing every day, which is why we must do our due diligence as Republicans to fight for our country's values and instill notions of liberty for generations to come. If given the privilege of representing FL-03 in Congress, I will never shy away from a fight to advocate for our conservative beliefs against extremists like Ilhan Omar and AOC."

In addition to releasing more local endorsements and coalitions than anyone else in the race, the Republican Liberty Caucus joins other prominent national conservatives and organizations such as Senator Rand Paul (R, KY) and Tea Party Express in placing their support behind her bid for Florida's Third Congressional District.
